Effect flow

How Play Effects resolve

A Play Effect is a queue of actions, not one line of text. These are real card queues in the order the game runs them.

Player wording, not internal actions

Effect pages use names like Draw, Mill and Freeze. The underlying queue actions stay in the database so filtering is exact instead of text matching.

Conditional actions stay visible

When a card only draws if you discarded first, the flow shows the condition instead of flattening it into “draw”.

No invented rules

Pages describe the verified actions and what each card text states. A mechanic rule is only spelled out once the game data closes it.

Common card effect questions

What are Play Effects?

A Play Effect is what a Tetramon does when you play it. Each one is a queue of actions — draw, discard, mill, search, freeze, shield, evolve and so on — and effect pages group cards by those actions.

How do I find cards with a specific effect?

Open the effect you need, or use the effect explorer on this page to combine an effect with an element, rarity or evolution stage.

Start with Draw cards

Which cards can draw cards?

Draw is one of the larger effect families. The Draw page lists every verified Draw card with the amount, the follow-up action and the evolution stage.

Browse Draw cards

Which cards can mill?

The Mill page lists every card that sends cards from a deck to the discard pile, with the mill amount and the target.

Browse Mill cards

Which cards can freeze?

The Freeze page lists every card that adds Freeze Counters, with the verified amount per card.

Browse Freeze cards

Can one card have multiple effects?

Yes. Many Tetramon combine two actions, such as discard then draw, or destroy a shield then boost power. Combine filters such as Draw + Discard to find them.

See Draw + Discard cards

Does the order of effects matter?

For cards with more than one action, yes — the queue runs in order, and some steps only resolve if the previous step succeeded. Effect pages show that order instead of a single flat sentence.
