God Packs in TCG Card Shop Simulator

A God Pack is a rare pack outcome that replaces the entire pack with one card treatment. Browse every type, see what each one looks like, and check how rare it is in the current game-data model.

Quick check

Is This a God Pack?

If every card in your pack came out with the same special treatment, you probably opened a God Pack. Pick what your pack looked like.

God Pack Types

Every type below is derived from the current God Pack model: a print treatment plus a finish, and for the Ghost outcomes a full Ghost replacement. The list is generated from game data, not copied from a community table.

Strongest player signal

Ghost God Packs

A Ghost God Pack turns the entire pack into Ghost cards. It is not the same rule as the per-pack Ghost chance, and the two should never be read as one number.

Ghost

Every card in the pack uses a Ghost outcome. The current model ships two of them: normal Ghost and Foil Ghost.

Foil Ghost

Ghost plus Foil. A Foil Ghost card is not the same as the Foil Ghost God Pack outcome: this one replaces all seven cards, while the normal Ghost rule only replaces the cards it reaches.

Both can put a Ghost card in your hands, which is exactly why they are easy to mix up.

How a God Pack Happens

No source code needed — the sequence is short.

  1. 1

You open an eligible card pack.

  2. 2

The game checks for a special pack outcome.

  3. 3

If a God Pack outcome is selected, the pack uses that special presentation.

  4. 4

The specific type decides the treatment applied across the whole pack.

A God Pack controls the presentation of the pack, not a fixed list of seven cards.

How Rare Are God Packs?

Every pack opening lands somewhere in a fixed roll space. The special outcomes occupy a small slice of it, and that slice is the current modeled God Pack chance.

Rarer types are narrower slices of the same roll space, not separate bonuses layered on top.

Pack tier and card value are separate from God Pack odds. A Legendary pack is not more likely to be a God Pack unless the pack model says so.

Avoid the mix-ups

Understanding God Packs

  • God Pack vs Legendary Pack

A Legendary Pack is a normal pack tier. A God Pack is a special outcome when opening an eligible pack. One is what you bought, the other is what happened.

  • Ghost Card vs Ghost God Pack

A Ghost card is one card with a Ghost treatment. A Ghost God Pack is the whole pack entering that outcome, so every card uses it.

  • Foil vs Foil God Pack

Foil is a finish on a print. A Foil God Pack is a whole-pack outcome where every card receives a print with the Foil finish.

  • Print, finish and rarity

Gold, EX and Full Art are prints, Foil is a finish, and rarity is a property of the card itself. A God Pack changes presentation, never gameplay stats.

God Packs FAQ

What is a God Pack in TCG Card Shop Simulator?
It is a rare pack outcome where the entire pack receives one special presentation, such as Gold, Full Art or Ghost, instead of the normal mix of cards.
Is a God Pack a separate booster pack?
No. You do not buy a God Pack from the shop. It is an outcome that can happen when opening an eligible card pack, so the pack you buy is still a normal pack.
What kinds of God Packs are there?
The current model ships 13 outcomes, listed above: 5 standard prints, 6 Foil outcomes and 2 Ghost outcomes.
Can I get a Ghost God Pack?
Yes, when the pack you open supports God Packs. A Ghost God Pack is one of the special outcomes, and it turns the whole pack into Ghost cards.
Can I get a Foil Ghost God Pack?
Yes. The model ships a Foil Ghost outcome next to the normal Ghost one, and it is the rarest type in the registry.
Are God Pack odds the same for every pack?
In the current model every eligible pack publishes the same God Pack rules, so the total God Pack chance is the same. The pack still decides which cards can appear.
Are Legendary packs more likely to become God Packs?
Pack tier is not the God Pack rule. The current model gives eligible packs the same God Pack chance, so nothing here is inferred from a pack being Legendary.
Is an all-Full-Art pack a God Pack?
If the whole pack came out in the Full Art layout, it matches the Full Art God Pack outcome. A single Full Art card from a normal pack is just a normal pull.
Is a Ghost card the same as a Ghost God Pack?
No. A Ghost card is one card with a Ghost treatment, while a Ghost God Pack is the whole pack entering the Ghost outcome. They come from different rules.
Does “1 in X” mean I will get one after X packs?
No. Each pack is rolled independently, so 1 in X is an average frequency, not a counter. Long runs without a God Pack are normal.
How many packs for a 90% chance?
That is a multi-pack question, so it belongs to the God Pack Odds calculator, which can show 10, 50, 100 packs and confidence thresholds.
