Ghost Cards
Ghost cards are rare special cards hidden inside eligible card packs. This guide covers what they are, how the two Ghost card faces and the Normal / Foil prints work, which packs can produce them, and how Ghost odds are actually calculated.

Definition
A Ghost card is a Ghost print of a monster that already exists in the game. Nothing about the monster changes — only the card it is printed on.
1
Canonical monster
The Ghost uses the same monster, element and artwork as the playable card, so it never adds a second gameplay card.
2
Ghost presentation
Ghost is its own presentation family. There is no Ghost border to mix with, and no Base / Silver / Gold / EX ladder inside it.
3
Card face
A Ghost card is printed on a White or a Black Ghost face. The face is a look: it is presentation, not a separate collectible state.
4
Finish
Every Ghost card exists with and without the Foil finish. The finish is the axis the collection counts, so each monster has two collectible states.
Ghost cards belong to their own collectible Ghost group rather than the standard Tetramon, Destiny or Ascension print matrix, which is why they do not follow the usual border ladder.
Card face
White and Black are the two faces a Ghost card is printed on. They are a look, not a rarity, not a border and not a collectible state.

Finish
Yes. Foil is a finish applied to a Ghost print, so each monster has exactly two ways to be collected: Normal and Foil.
| Normal | Foil | |
|---|---|---|
| White | ![]() | ![]() |
| Black | ![]() | ![]() |
Foil is not a rarity
A rarity would rank the card. Foil only describes the finish of the print, exactly like every other card in the game.
The face is presentation and the finish is the collectible axis. A Ghost card looks four ways in total, but a monster only occupies two slots in the binder.

Where they come from
Ghost cards are not sold as their own booster set. They are injected into regular packs, and a pack can do that only when its published rules say so.

The Ghost Pack is not a source
The Ghost Pack is the pack of Ghost cards: a product you can buy, not a pack that injects Ghosts into itself. It is therefore not listed as a Ghost source.Ghost Pack
Eligibility comes from the current pack model. A newer set does not automatically add a Ghost rule, and one old community table does not remove one.

A higher number here means a higher modeled Ghost chance for this target. It says nothing about card value, rarity or shop profit.
5 packs currently share the highest modeled Ghost chance for this target.

No source code needed. The sequence is short, and it describes what happens to a pack rather than the internal rules behind it.
1
You open an eligible card pack.
2
The pack generates its normal cards.
3
The Ghost rules published for that pack are checked.
4
If a Ghost result is produced, its Ghost presentation is resolved.
5
The finish is applied according to the current pack model.
Ghost cards can enter a pack through more than one supported path, so this site combines every path the model publishes when it reports an effective Ghost chance. It never assumes that every card has a fixed 1 in X chance of becoming Ghost.
Two different answers
Both put Ghost cards in your hands, which is exactly why they are easy to confuse. They are different rules with different chances.

The same distinction applies as soon as Foil is involved.
A Foil Ghost is one or more Ghost cards with the Foil finish.
A Foil Ghost God Pack is the whole-pack outcome finished in Foil Ghost.
One is a card in your pack; the other is what happened to the entire pack.
Before you calculate
There is no single Ghost chance, because "a Ghost" can mean several different things. Name the target first, then calculate it.
Ghost probability depends on
What are you calculating?
Pick the question that matches what you actually want to know.
At least one Ghost
Any Ghost card, from any path the selected pack supports.
Open pack odds →Ghost God Pack
The whole pack becoming Ghost cards.
Open God Pack odds →Foil Ghost God Pack
The whole pack finished in Foil Ghost.
Open God Pack odds →A specific Ghost monster, or a Foil Ghost
The current model publishes one Ghost chance per pack, not a separate rate per monster, face or finish. These all share the pack rule above.
That is why this page never prints one "Ghost chance". A number only means something once the target is named.
Dry streaks
Ghost pulls are random. An average frequency of 1 in N does not mean the Nth pack is guaranteed — that is not how independent packs work.
1 in N is an average, not a counter.
Every pack is rolled on its own, so a long run without a Ghost is a normal outcome rather than a bug.
See how unusual your dry streak actually is.
The catalogue
20 Ghost monsters ship in the current data. Each is printed on a White or a Black Ghost face, and each one is collected as a Normal and a Foil print.
