TCG Card Shop Simulator Pack Odds Calculator

Choose a pack and a target to see your chance of pulling it in one pack. Every number is calculated from the current pack rules, never copied from an odds table.

Target

A Full Art, Gold, EX or Foil outcome, for any eligible card.

Legendary Card Pack

Base

98.3%

Chance in one pack

This is an average frequency, not a guarantee.

Breakdown

Where this chance comes from

Every valid route to the target, with its unit attached. Routes are combined, never simply added.

A God Pack replaces the whole seven-card result, so its outcomes are combined with the normal opening as exclusive routes instead of being added on top.

A higher modeled chance is not a recommendation: pack price, unlock level and collection goals still differ.

Method

How is this calculated?

  1. 1

The pack selects cards for its card slots.

  2. 2

Print and border outcomes are resolved from the pack’s own print rules.

  3. 3

Foil outcomes are applied on top of the print roll.

  4. 4

Ghost routes are checked where the pack rules allow them.

  5. 5

Special pack outcomes such as a God Pack are resolved for the whole pack.

  6. 6

Every valid route to your target is combined into one chance.

What this calculator answers

This page answers one question only: what are the odds in one pack? Questions about 10, 50 or 100 packs belong to the N-pack calculator.

What you can calculate

  • Specific Card

    One named Tetramon, any print.

  • Specific Variant

One card, one exact print and finish.

  • Print / Finish

A Full Art, Gold, EX or Foil outcome, for any eligible card.

  • Ghost Card

At least one Ghost in the pack, or a Ghost God Pack.

  • God Pack

Any God Pack, whatever it contains.

Per card is not per pack

A per-card number describes a single card slot. A per-pack number describes the whole booster: the chance that at least one card in the pack matches. The unit is always shown next to the value, so the two are never confused.

Ghost and Ghost God Pack are different

A pack can contain a Ghost through the ordinary replacement, through a Ghost God Pack, or not at all. This calculator combines those routes instead of adding them, so the same Ghost is never counted twice.

At least one Ghost · 9

Any route that leaves at least one Ghost in the pack.

Ghost God Pack · 9

The pack itself is a special Ghost outcome. This is rarer than a single Ghost card.

Why does this differ from odds I saw elsewhere?

Some older calculations consider one pull route only, or an earlier version of the pack rules. This calculator combines the routes the site’s current game model supports.

Frequently asked questions

What does “chance per pack” mean?
The probability that at least one copy of the target appears in a single pack, averaged over many packs.
Is per-card chance the same as per-pack chance?
No. A per-card number describes one card slot; a per-pack number describes the whole booster. The unit is always labelled next to the value.
How are Foil odds calculated?
Foil is applied on top of the print roll using the pack’s current foil rule, so a Foil Full Art and a Foil Base are different numbers.
Does the God Pack chance count toward the result?
Yes, wherever a God Pack can produce the target. Its outcome classes are combined with the normal opening as exclusive routes, so nothing is counted twice.
Are Ghost and Ghost God Pack odds the same?
No. At least one Ghost can come from the ordinary replacement or from a Ghost God Pack; a Ghost God Pack is one specific whole-pack outcome.
Why is my probability different from 7 × card chance?
Because slots can be replaced, prints roll sequentially and special outcomes replace the whole pack, so simple multiplication does not hold.
Does 1 in 1000 mean I am guaranteed one after 1000 packs?
No. It is an average frequency, not a guarantee.
How do I calculate odds after 100 packs?
Use the N-pack calculator, which consumes the same one-pack probability this page shows.
