TCG Card Shop Simulator Market Simulator

Explore possible Market Price movement using the game’s known market rules.

Simulation ≠ prediction. The game’s future random outcomes are not known.

Card (optional)

Simulation length

Market event scenario

Automatic applies the published random movement. The game does not publish which card a market event matches, so a matching event is a scenario you choose, not a hidden assumption.

Run the simulation to see one possible price path under the known market rules. It is not a forecast.

How Market Price movement works

The simulator follows the same daily steps the game publishes.

Random market movement

Market Price can receive random movement under the game’s market rules, so repeating the same simulation can produce different valid paths.

Market events

The daily move has a magnitude drawn from a published window. A card that a market event matches receives that magnitude as a rise or a fall. Which card an event matches is not published, so the simulator treats a matching event as a scenario.

Correction rule

When the cumulative move grows very large, the game can apply a correction that pulls the price back toward the normal range.

Price limits

The cumulative movement is clamped, so a price cannot run away forever. The limit applies to the cumulative change, not to the raw price.

Recent history

The game keeps a short rolling window of recent market values. The simulator does not require you to enter it, and it does not change your starting point.

Rounding

The game shows a Market Price rounded to cents. The simulator rounds the same way at the end of each day.

What the simulator cannot do

It does not know the game’s future random rolls, future events or your exact save. It shows possible movement under the known rules, not a prediction.

Example

A Starting Market Price of $1,000.00 over 30 days produces one simulated path. Because the daily move includes a random component, running it again produces a different valid path.

Simulation ≠ prediction. The game’s future random outcomes are not known.

This is one legal path, not a forecast. Run it again to see another legal path.

Market simulator questions

What does the Market Simulator do?
It runs the game’s known market rules forward from a Starting Market Price and shows simulated price paths and their outcome range.
Can it predict tomorrow’s Market Price?
No. It explores possible movement under the known rules. It does not know the game’s future random rolls or future events.
Why does running it twice give different prices?
The daily move includes a random component, so more than one path is legal from the same starting price. That is expected, not an error.
Is the simulated price my real in-game Market Price?
No. It is a simulated scenario. Your real Market Price only comes from your game or from the value you enter.
Do price limits mean the price can never move further?
The limit applies to the cumulative change, so a simulated price stays inside a fixed interval. It is a rule boundary, not a target the price has to reach.
Does the simulator use market events?
Automatic mode applies the published random movement. Because the game does not publish which card an event matches, a matching event is a scenario you select, not an assumed probability.
Does Market Price change my shelf price automatically?
They are separate numbers. Market Price is the game’s reference value; your listed price is what you set. This tool never changes your shop.
Can I use the simulated price in the sell-card tool?
Only as a scenario you choose. It is never written back as your real Market Price. Sell My Card
