Costs from the verified 1.0 room formula

Plan your expansion

Current shop expansion

Pick your current expansion above, or choose Starting Shop if you have not expanded yet.

Target expansion
Quick target

Only the steps after your current expansion are priced. The planner prices steps up to 60.

Set your current expansion

A Shop Level is never turned into an expansion count, because level eligibility is not purchased progression. Pick your current expansion, or start from the Starting Shop.

Customer buying power

Rooms feed the base the customer-money rule rolls from. This is a side note for planning, not part of the expansion cost.

Set your shop level on the customer-money side and this panel fills in.

The level is a separate input, so this comparison holds the level saved on this device. A bigger shop raises buying power, not footfall.

This is a buying-power effect. It is not income and not a return on the money you spend on rooms.

How this planner works

One path, from your current shop to the target you pick.

  1. Current expansion
  2. Target expansion
  3. Steps in order
  4. Purchase cost per step
  5. Total cost

Rooms are bought in sequence

The game sells expansions one at a time, so the plan lists the rooms between your current state and the target, in order. The room number is what sets the price.

No level gate is published for a room

The verified 1.0 data ships the room prices but no per-step Shop Level requirement, so the planner shows none instead of inventing one. Shop Levels still decide what you can unlock, and they feed customer money.

The price is keyed to the room

Two players buying room 12 pay the same price, whatever their level and cash. The formula rises with the room number and steps up at fixed points.

No final expansion is published

Because the data has no verified final step, the highest target is a browsing bound. Nothing here calls a shop complete.

The planner answers steps and cost. Whether that money is better spent on stock, licences or wages is a different decision.

The planner prices a path. These pages explain the system behind it.

Shop expansion calculator questions

Does the total include my current expansion?
No. The plan prices only the steps after your current expansion, up to the target. The expansion you already own is not charged again.
Does reaching a Shop Level automatically buy an expansion?
The verified data publishes no per-step Shop Level requirement for a room, so there is no level to reach for one. A room is bought and paid for, and your Shop Level is tracked separately.
Can I calculate the cost to max the shop?
The data has no verified final expansion, so the planner prices up to the highest step it models. Set your target there to see the full modelled cost.
Does the planner know whether I can afford it?
No. It never asks for your cash, because the task is the required cost, not affordability. Expansion also competes with stock, licences and wages for the same money.
Does this include warehouse expansion?
No. The warehouse is a separate progression with its own formula and its own starting state, so it has its own calculator. Warehouse Expansion Calculator
Does shop expansion affect customer buying power?
Yes. Shop rooms feed the base the customer-money rule rolls from. That is a buying-power effect, not extra customers. Customer Money Calculator
Why is the highest target not called the maximum shop?
Because the verified data publishes no final step. It is the last step the planner can price, not a completed shop.
